Privacy
Last updated October 2026.
teleVoog keeps as little about you as it can. There are no accounts, no adverts and no tracking, and nobody here can read a playlist login.
What the app keeps on your device
Everything the app needs to play stays on the TV or phone it is installed on: your playlists and their logins, your favourites, how far through something you were, your reminders and the code on any locked groups. Uninstalling the app removes all of it.
What our service keeps when you link a TV
When teleVoog starts on a TV or phone for the first time, it is given a random number by our service, so the website can find it. We keep that number with the kind of device, its model and app version, a name for it, and when it was last seen.
For each playlist you send to a TV from this website we keep its name, its type (M3U or Xtream) and the web address of your provider, so Manage playlists can show you what is on the TV.
The playlist itself, its link, username, password and guide link, is locked in your own browser before it leaves it, and only your TV holds the key. We pass the locked copy on and cannot open it. It is deleted as soon as your TV has collected it.
Typing a playlist on your phone
On Android TV, the TV serves a small page over your home network while that screen is open, and your phone sends what you typed straight to it.
On Samsung and LG, your phone locks what you typed with a key only your TV holds, and leaves it with our sign-in service for at most five minutes. The service cannot open it, keeps no record of it, and forgets it once your TV has collected it.
Who your TV talks to
Your provider, for your playlist, guide and streams. What your provider records is between you and them; we have no relationship with them.
Our service, to collect the playlists you send it and the changes you make on Manage playlists.
How long we keep it
A TV or phone that has not been seen for 12 months is removed, with everything we keep about it. You can remove one sooner yourself: see Delete your data. The record of what our own staff change on this site is kept for two years.
Who can see it
Our staff can see whether a TV is linked and when it was last seen, to help you if something goes wrong. Nobody can see a playlist link, username or password: we never have them in a form that can be read.
This website
It has no analytics and no advertising. Its typeface is served by the site itself, so no third party sees your visit.
Children
teleVoog is not directed at children. It offers a four-digit code that can put whole groups out of reach.
If this changes, and questions
Anything that would change what we keep would be a change to this page first, with the date above updated. Questions go to info@televoog.com.
